What is a workshop?
The BMI Agent Workshops offer you the opportunity for 1 on 1 meeting with up to 60 pre-screened agencies from around the globe. Agent workshops are essential for Schools who are looking to enter new markets. They are an extremely time and cost-effective way to make many valuable contacts with relatively little time, effort, or money spent.
Here are the key features of a BMI workshop:
- Our workshops are relaxed but efficient, spread out over two days.
- We keep the number of participating schools below 35, as any more than this would not be conducive to creating meaningful relationships in the space of 2 days.
- We send you a complete list of agents well before the day of the event so that you can select the agencies you would most like to meet.
- We use this list to create a complete 2 day schedule and return it to you 10 days in advance.
- We include networking cocktails and a dinner in the evening so that you can also network in a less formal environment.
- We pre-screen agencies – they have either worked with us before, or if not then we require references from contacts we know and trust.
- We are a small / intimate event – we feel that a workshop should be a small, intimate and relaxed affair and not a huge, impersonal, corporate meeting.
- 25 minutes per meeting (with 5 minutes in between)
